Dr. Lisa Schmors

Lisa Schmors
Lisa Schmors is a Postdoc in the Department of Data Science at the Hertie Institute for AI in Brain Health. Lisa recently received her Ph.D. from the University of Tübingen and the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent systems (IMPRS-IS). She is interested at the potential synergies between neuroscience and machine learning (NeuroAI). She is investigating response patterens of single neurons and their populations using statistical models, as well as identifying structure in neuroscience data using machine learning algorithms.
I am interested in the fundamental principles of neural coding in larger networks and neural populations.
