Hertie AI Fellow Program
Hertie AI Fellows are outstanding scientists from leading institutions worldwide who share a commitment to advancing research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and clinical application. Whether based nearby or abroad, they remain active contributors to the Hertie AI community — participating in scientific exchange, joint projects, and the kind of cross-institutional collaboration that rarely emerges within the boundaries of a single research environment.
The program is built on the conviction that some of the most consequential scientific work happens when researchers with different backgrounds, methodologies, and institutional perspectives work in close dialogue. Fellows bring their own research agendas and ways of thinking into direct contact with the questions being pursued at Hertie AI — and take back new perspectives, collaborations, and connections in return.
Through regular exchange, shared projects, and access to Hertie AI's computational infrastructure and interdisciplinary expertise, the Fellow Program creates lasting ties between researchers who might otherwise work in parallel. The result is a network defined not by formal affiliation alone, but by genuine scientific exchange and a shared investment in pushing the field forward.
