Collaborating with therapists and engineers creates new ways to apply neuroscience to patients’ needs.
Marija Tochadse
Marija focuses on understanding the factors that contribute to treatment outcome in psychotherapy. For this, she uses structural and functional MRI data in combination with connectivity and variability measures, as well as routine clinical data. One of the processes she explores is the relation of psychiatric disease to deviations from the norm across neural features. Her interest lies specifically in how we can leverage information from neuroimaging data to increase the performance of our machine learning models in predicting treatment response.
